My Watermelon Feta Salad will be your new favorite ☀️ summertime dish. Have you ever had hot honey on 🍉 watermelon? If you love hot honey, this is the recipe for you! This salad is absolutely outstanding: incredibly refreshing 💦, with the hot honey adding just the tiniest bit of spice to keep things interesting. The combo of watermelon and feta cheese is a classic in Bulgaria. Here, the feta contributes creaminess and 🧂 saltiness that complements the watermelon in the best sweet-and-salty way.

Why You’ll Love Watermelon Feta Salad

There are no exact measurements in this Watermelon Feta Salad: use the quantities that suit your level of hunger, your preferences, and how many people you are serving. If your family doesn’t like spice, use regular 🍯 honey or agave instead of hot honey. I suggest making more than you think you might need because once people start munching on this, they won’t be able to stop! It’s so light and refreshing, and the sweet 🍉 watermelon/salty feta combo is perfection. Plus, this recipe only takes 10 minutes from start to finish and is the perfect side dish for any barbecue or picnic 🧺.

How to Prepare Watermelon Feta Salad

🔪 Using a sharp knife, cut the watermelon in half, place it fruit side down and cut it into wedges. Then, remove the rind and cut the watermelon into bite-size cubes.

🍉 Place the watermelon in a large bowl with the feta cheese.

🍯 Add a squeeze of lime juice and a drizzle of hot honey and then gently toss everything together.

🌿 Finally, garnish the salad with fresh mint and drizzle on a touch more hot honey. Enjoy!

Nonna’s Tip 🍉

To make life easier, you can buy pre-cut watermelon and chop it into smaller cubes.
