This 🍓 sparkling Strawberry Watermelon Juice is the best slushy refresher you will have this summer. Alcohol is totally optional (but oh so good). If you’re making this a 🍹 cocktail, I recommend using vodka, tequila, or even rum but use whatever you like best. This drink is so easy to prep and so bright and 💦 refreshing, there’s no way that the whole family wouldn’t enjoy a big batch of this on the table.

Why You’ll Love Sparkling Strawberry Watermelon Juice

Did I mention this 🍉 Strawberry Watermelon Juice is the ultimate quencher? Watermelon is so naturally hydrating, and it’s nice and sweet with the addition of frozen 🍓 strawberries. If you want this drink to be on the slushier side (like a granita), simply add more frozen strawberries or even a few ice cubes. The lime juice adds a great brightness and the splash of 🫧 bubbly makes this sparkly and fun to drink. Make a big batch and serve it at your next BBQ-your guests will love it!

Ingredients

🍉 Watermelon: I cut my watermelon into chunks and used four pieces to give this drink a nice dose of healthy watermelon juice. It’s an A++ for hydration!

🍓 Strawberries: A cup of frozen strawberries gives this drink its slushy-like texture.

🟢 Lime: Fresh squeezed lime juice adds a hint of tartness and a shot of Vitamin C.

🫧 Sparkling Water: Bubbles make everything better! I like to use San Pellegrino, but you can use any variety of sparkling water for a boost of flavor and added minerals.

Nonna’s Tip 🥂

Take this drink from mocktail to cocktail by adding a shot of your favorite spirits (rum, tequila, or vodka) or your favorite champagne. Cheers!

Storage Tips

Whether you’re trying to get ahead on party planning or figuring out what to do with leftovers, use these storage tips to ensure nothing goes to waste 🙅🏻‍♀️.

  • Pour any leftover Strawberry Watermelon Juice into ice cube trays and freeze. Pop them into water or sparkling water for a naturally sweet refresher. Alternatively, blend the cubes later for a quick frozen slushy. You can also pour the juice into popsicle molds for a summer treat that lasts up to 1 month in the freezer.
  • If you’re making this drink ahead of time, you could store it in a tightly sealed jar or bottle for up to 2 days in the fridge. You’ll need to give it a quick stir as natural separation will occur, and wait until just before serving to add the San Pellegrino for best results.
