Why You’ll Love Creamy Tuscan Shrimp

This decadent and creamy Tuscan shrimp 🍤 dish is incredibly easy to make, taking only 10 minutes. It’s perfect for a quick weeknight dinner and adds a protein-rich topping for any entree. You can serve it on top of pasta, rice, alongside potatoes, or even on a salad – the options are endless!

Plus, this recipe isn’t limited to shrimp – you can use any source of protein you like. Whether you prefer grilled chicken 🍗, scallops, tofu, or something else, this delicious and creamy Tuscan sauce will complement it perfectly.

How to Prepare Creamy Tuscan Shrimp

👩‍🍳 In a pan with a little bit of olive oil, add the thinly sliced shallot, garlic and sundried tomatoes. Sauté for a few minutes until soft.

🍷 Add in the wine and cook it off thoroughly until the consistency is nice and jammy.

🍤 Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for two minutes on each side. Add a touch of tomato paste, cook it off and then add a splash of heavy cream. Stir until the sauce thickens and the shrimp are coated in the creamy, delicious sauce.

Nonna’s Tip 🥛

If you are dairy-free you can make your own cashew cream and use that instead or take a can of coconut milk and scoop in the cream that sits at the top.

📝This creamy shrimp can be best served with pasta, rice, on salads, or even with baby spinach. I like adding baby spinach into the sauce because it makes a perfectly balanced meal that has protein and fiber. If you want more shrimp recipes, take a look below ⬇️

Turned out amazing! Done in no time as long as you thaw the shrimp in time. I marinated mine with a bit of salt pepper and a drop of olive oil and a splash of champagne, then followed the TMN instructions. No photos to share because it disappeared from the table too fast.

Hi Sneji! I recently lost 90 pounds and I eat pretty clean and healthy now. I saw the shrimp recipe and I was drawn to it immediately. I just made it and I put it over rice noodles. It is so delicious and simple and easy! Thank you so much for sharing it. I love your recipes! ❤️

  3. This recipe had no taste. Perhaps I made an error in using unsweetened coconut milk and sweetened would have given it more flavor but would have increased the calories. Not a winner at our house.

    1. Hi Barbara, something must have gone with the type of milk you used. This recipe is incredibly flavorful if followed exactly. So sorry hope you try again.
