Preheat your oven to 450F (230C). If the oven doesn’t go that high, just choose the highest setting that you can but you may need to bake them longer. Oil up or spray a baking sheet.
Now, wipe the mushrooms with a damp paper towel. Do not rinse them under water and save the stems to chop into an omelet or for another recipe.
Once clean, add a teaspoon of your favorite pizza sauce on top of each one, along with a tablespoon of mozzarella, and a sprinkle of dry oregano (optional).
Bake at 450°F (230°C) for 18 minutes, then optionally broil for 1 minute for caramelization. Garnish with basil or parsley.
