This Green Smoothie is so creamy and doesn't taste like spinach at all! It's full of nutritious ingredients, added protein, and a bit of sweetness from the banana.

It tastes incredible and takes less than 5 minutes to make! ? Skeptical? The drink may be green in color, but you can hardly taste the spinach. ? Same with the protein powder—thanks to creamy milk (I prefer almond) and the natural sweetness of banana, the protein powder flavor and texture is nicely masked. If perhaps you overdo it on the sweets and treats this holiday season ?, this is the perfect recipe to get back on track with feeling healthy and nourishing your body; a detox, if you will. It’s an excellent snack or meal for weight loss or a New Year’s resolution to eat less processed, more nutrient-dense foods."]
Notes
Banana: The riper your banana is, the sweeter the smoothie will be! Protein Powder: Feel free to use whatever flavor of protein powder you enjoy. I think that strawberry or chocolate work well with bananas, or you can just use plain instead. Spinach: Fresh spinach is best here since frozen is blanched and may not blend as nicely as fresh. You could absolutely use frozen, fresh (unblanched) spinach if you want.
